Royal Caribbean is preparing to welcome its second ship sailing seasonally from New York (actually Cape Liberty Bayonne, NJ). Coming this Friday, May 11. 2018, the Adventure of the Seas will begin sailing from Cape Liberty in addition to the Anthem of the Seas. The Anthem of the Sea will be sailing alternating 5 Day Bermuda cruises with 9 Day Cruises to the Caribbean or Florida & the Bahamas.

The 137,000 ton Adventure of the Seas will from the Port of New York and New Jersey to Florida and the Bahamas., Bermuda as well as New England / Canada Cruises. The ship will be offering one way, 10 day trips between New York and Quebec (and the reverse) during prime fall foliage times.

The Adventure of the Seas is a Voyager Class vessel. She was built in 2001 and is over 1,020 feet long. She can carry 3,114 guests and 1180 crew.

She boasts a rock-climbing wall, the Royal Promenade Atrium running Horizontally though the center of the ship , ice-skating rink, inline skating track, mini-golf, Basketball court, pools, spa, multiple dining facilities and more.

On an interesting note, the Adventure of the Seas is no stranger to New York. She was the first cruise ship to sail into New York after the 9/11 attack.
