Hurricane Dorian approaches Bahamas and Florida (Map CNN) Hurricane Dorian has had limited impact on cruises departing from New York, mainly because we are in the late summer/fall season.  At this time of the year, cruises ships from New York tend to head north to New England and Canada for cruise passengers to enjoy the splendor of the fall colors. Pullmantur Zenith as Peaceboat II starting in 2020 The Peaceboat organization, a Japanese nongovernmental organization promoting world peace, has announced that they have reached an agreement to operate Pullmantur's Zenith. The 1,828-guest Zenith is expected to leave the Pullmantur fleet in early 2020 and begin sailing for Peaceboat as the Peaceboat II starting in April 2020. The Zenith (Peaceboat II) is expected to sail alongside the Ocean Dream (ex Carinival Tropicale) which has been operating for Peaceboat for a number of years.
